What to bring to your Intake Meeting
- Specific information about the value of your house, if you own it, and any mortgage on it
- Specific information about any savings you have including PEPs, ISAs and Bonds
- Specific information about any other assets, e.g. shares, insurance policies
- Evidence of your Income from all sources (wage slips and bank statements for the month preceding assessment)
- Evidence of your benefits (the latest letter identifying the type of benefit and bank statements to show receipt)
- Evidence of Tax Credits (latest notification letter and bank statements to show receipt)
- Specific information about how much mortgage or rent you pay (rent book or evidence required)
- Specific information about your tax and national insurance payments
- Specific information about how much you pay for childcare related to work
- Latest set of accounts if you are self employed together with evidence of tax and national insurance calculations and business account statements for the month preceding assessment
- Specific information about dividend or bonus payments even if discretionary
If you are living with a new partner you also need to bring:
- Specific information about how much they earn
- Specific information about how much tax and national insurance they pay
Please bring anything else that you think is relevant so that the Mediator can assess you correctly.
